Patriarch, President of the Republic your friend, Speaker Berri and Prime Minister your brother are participating in this memorial. You always told me about your friendship with PM Saad Hariri. You had political differences with some but you did not offend or insult anybody, but you believed in a culture of love and peace and dialogue. You were always open-minded and a believer in the culture of dialogue you always searched for the results, and faced the obstacles in a constructive way. You set an example to your sons, Amin and Alexandre . Amin (Pierre’s son) took a lot from you, your humor, and tradition and he reminds us of your moves and fun, and your smile, and Alexander (Pierre second son) is your contrast. Be proud of your children, their mother is giving them the education that you want: being honest and always stay on the right track. Your sister Nicole and her Family is like you knew her, are hand in hand and heart by heart.

Your mother always thinks about you. My son, make sure that the struggle you went through is still being followed. Your brother is carrying the torch and is continuing what you already began, be sure that he will carry on your path and fight continue. The students who won the elections at NDU dedicated their victory to you and this certifies that you live in each and every one of us. One of your first struggles was your lectures given in NDU. I see in these young people faces your face and smile and fight when we won the national battles. This occasion revives the Cedar Revolution, the national and independent Lebanon, the freedom and dignity and the presence of these leaders express their solidarity and determination to continue your fight and the struggle of all the martyrs. A National Unity Government was formed that comprises all groups and sects and trends and I ask you to pray for us in order not to lose the way. We want the government to be a real unity government headed by your brother Saad Hariri and we want it to lead Lebanon toward safety. You brought us together today and perhaps it’s not by chance. This meeting has a special symbolic, it’s like you are showing us the right way, It is as if you are alerting us that there is nothing other than “forgiveness” that can strengthen and reconstruct Lebanon. 
The party which you served till the last breath will remain the conscience of Lebanon and it is keen on all the martyrdoms
